Hike to the waterfall..Scenic Sunday

Camera Critters follows my Scenic Sunday


My hubby and I saw a lot while in Maui, on one day we hiked to a waterfall. The trail took us thru a bamboo forest. I could not believe that bamboo grew so tall. I am just sorry I was not into birding as I am now. I am sure I passed many birds along that trail. The scenery was so lush and pretty.

    My husband and I have hiked to many waterfalls in Hawaii, including those from the Road to Hana, Maui. The reward for the hike is to amazing! Lovely scenes of beautiful Maui!

    These are lovely..the top one reminds me of the Kohala coast over here but its another view altogether. I saw your moon shot for skywatch- wow..doesn't even look real! Nice job with all your many beautiful photos!

    great photos! I love Hana and Haleakala NP. we saw bamboo like that last year in Costa Rica - i had no idea it got that huge either. Thanks for bringing me back to Maui! :)

    I sat down, listened to the songs by those birds, and kept waiting, I didn't see them. My today experience.

    That's my kind of road. I haven't been to Hawaii, yet. It's on the list.
    What an amazing bamboo forest towering over head. And that waterfall is awesome. Nice walk. I feel like I went along.

    Ah ... your GORGEOUS views of Maui bring back memories of my visits there. Thanks for sharing and for dropping by Sacred Ruminations. It's not often we see 'snow capped' mountains but the wetlands provided the best view after Monday's rain washed the air clean ;-)

    I don't think it is possible to get a bad shot of scenery in Hawaii. I love it there...hope to go back someday.

    We survived the road to Hana many years ago, but we drove it, didn't hike like you did!
